Lady and the Tramp
This picture is the one that I gave my mom to hang up at her work. Her favorite Disney movie is "Lady and the Tramp", so I think I actually drew this for Mother's Day, or her birthday... I can't actually remember. lol. She had it hung on her wall for a long time so when she moved offices and brought the picture home, I noticed that it was super faded from the sun that came in her window. I started thinking that I should probably redo the picture in colored pencils, instead of chalk pastels like the original. Besides, when I did the Fox and the Hound picture it turned out pretty nice looking and I think it will be way less likely to fade. I would love to do this for her, but the issue is time. lol. Maybe college will give me time... Screw homework, right? Haha. Just kidding.

Princess Series 3
Ok.... here they are. My sister's favorite princess and then mine. She loves Jasmine because she is that exotic Arabian girl. Kerri is obsessed with dark skin and everything so she thinks Jasmine is gorgeous. I, on the other hand, am completely in love with my girl crush, Ariel. Ever since I was a little girl, I never REALLY wanted to be a princess. It was nice and all, but what I truly yearned to be was... a mermaid. Yeah. I used to take a pair of colorful sweat pants and take one leg and fold it inside the pants, so only one leg showed and I would stick both of my legs into the one pant leg and put a pair of different colored socks on and pretend to be a mermaid in my room. I pretended that my grayish-blue carpet was the ocean. So fun :)

Good ol' sexy Captain Jack :)
So pretty much one of my many obsessions is Pirates of the Caribbean. For example, I get misty eyed when I hear the theme score of the movie because it is absolutely ridiculously awesome. So, of course, I had to paint the wonderful star of the movies: Captain Jack Sparrow aka my celebrity crush, Johnny Depp.
I painted this with water-based oils. I really REALLY hate the gun. I was in a rush to get this done for the art show and I didn't take enough time to get the gun right. Oh well, maybe I will go back and fix it later. What do ya think?

Princess Series 1
I am pretty much in love with all things Disney. I am in love with the art work in all of their films. Mostly their 2D animated films, but all in all I am amazed. I especially love all things Disney Princesses. Even though I am something of a tomboy, I still can't get over the sparkles and glitter of being a Disney princess. So, I have drawn some of them. The first of the series is Cinderella and Snow White.
You can click on them to get a better look. Let me know what you think! :)

Fox and the Hound
For my mom's birthday last year, I worked my butt off to get this thing done. I had asked her what her favorite Disney movie was and she said Lady and the Tramp and Fox and the Hound. I had already given her a pastel of Lady and the Tramp (which I need to redo because it faded really bad), so I decided to draw the latter. I took the image from our old vhs movie.

| This is definitely on my list of favorites of my work. |
I did this in one of my sketch books. I used colored pencils. I'm not sure the exact measurements of the paper. Hopefully, I will get to redo the Lady and the Tramp picture and it will come out as nice as this one.
